The location

Uneke Wagga is located on the corner of Fitzmaurice and Kincaid Street in the Wagga Wagga CBD. With the stretch of Fitzmaurice Street quickly becoming a popular place for entertainment and dining experiences, Uneke Wagga sits proudly amongst it and relishes in its reputation that has been purely built by satisfied customers.

The building in which Uneke Lounge is located was once a popular eating destination named the "The Crown Corner" from 1950s -1970s. In 2009 the site at 140 Fitzmaurice Street was once again filled with the aroma of coffee and delicious food as it was transferred back into a place for people to meet and eat by a local farmer and his wife- Chris and Beacie. It was then in 2016 Beacie & Chris’s long-term vision developed further, this was when ‘Uneke Warehouse’ was created.

Meet the Owners

Meet Chris and Beacie, a local farmer and an expressive interior decorator, mother and grandmother, with a passion to be local and support local. The faces behind the magic that is Uneke Warehouse. Beacie + Chris Gestier have spent countless hours dreaming up and bringing to life our gorgeous spaces to host your special life events. Uneke Lounge was where it all began back in 2009. Beacie & Chris’s long-term vision developed further in 2016, when ‘Uneke Warehouse’ was created. The incredible renovation at the rear of the property has seen their functions space grow and transform to a whole new level. As the business owners and builders of this transformation, they are overjoyed by the end result and what it can provide for couples who wish to say ‘I do’. Beacie has an absolute knack for all things styling and class. Her love for decorating is showcased throughout the Chapel, Warehouse, Function Room + Courtyard. And Chris - AKA resident handy man - makes sure all Beacie’s ideas come to life. They are often floating around the café or function spaces and are always up for a chat.
